Center for Elders’ Independence (CEI) is a not-for-profit organization offering health care services to East Bay seniors. Through diligent care and support, their clients are able to thrive while remaining in their own homes. When CEI opened a new PACE facility (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) in San Leandro, they needed to renovate the space to adequately address their clients’ needs. Rossi Builders transformed their building into a state-of-the-art haven for aging adults.

We renovated their 15,000 square feet of interior space: rebuilding their exam rooms, kitchen, dining rooms, computer lab, rehab facilities, and reception and common areas. The new facility makes seniors feel safe and right at home with comfortable features like cozy seating areas, open and spacious (and ADA-compliant) rooms and corridors, and natural light that’s easy on aging eyes. The finished result is a CEI Pace building that’s updated to serve elders’ evolving needs in the twenty-first century.

And this isn’t the only project where CEI has reached out to Rossi Builders. We also partnered with them to perform some exterior facade work on their downtown Oakland administration building. In our eyes, there’s no stronger endorsement than a satisfied repeat customer.
